DEFINITION: CITIZEN, RESIDENT AND NON RESIDENT.

Who is a citizen, Resident or Non-resident? Knowing who you are helps in proper planning for your safari in terms of how much you will pay for the park’s entrance fees.

 

CITIZENS: Refers to Kenyan citizens with valid National ID/Passports, and Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi citizens with valid passports.

 

RESIDENTS: Refers to persons of other nationalities residing in Kenya with valid documentation from the Kenyan government.

 

NON RESIDENT: Refers to a non-citizen, or foreign national, who doesn’t either have a national ID or work permit. In most instances, these are normally tourists from Abroad.
